Strong Little Pook Giggle Monster Hey You
Pook is pulling up on everything:)
My little Maya Sanaa is growing so very big and strong. She isn't crawling but she definitely gets around by any means necessary. Then what she finds really interesting is anything hanging, especially tablecloths (but she's not a magician so everything falls to the floor). She also likes to stick things in her mouth. She doesn't have teeth yet so it all feels good to her. Especially my shoes, water bottles, and fingers (hers, mine, and strangers).
Right now everything is funny to Pook. She giggles, and giggles, and giggles. Yesterday I was in the car driving and almost had to pull over to see what was going on in the back seat. I put my newmommydriving in gear (looking at Pook in the rear view mirror while driving) and she was cracking up. Just laughing very loudly. I can't explain it nor do I know what was so funny. Maybe its the thirty five dollars we spent on diapers and the fourteen dollars we spent on wipes at Sams Club. Thats completely ridiculous. Or maybe its watching me eat more ice cream after saying out loud how I need to work out. Now, that's funny. Or maybe she's figured out she already knows more than the President. HA!
Although Pook is a little giggle monster she is also a comedian. If adults are engaging in more than a two minute conversation while she is around she will start talking or saying AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH at the top of her lungs until she gets our attention. And then you guessed it, she laughs as the silly adults attempting to have a conversation yet distracted by a cute little strong giggle monster.
So Pook is strong physically and right now she loves to laugh and demand people's attention.
Tomorrow we go the doctor for a check up. I think Pook is finally over the ear infection week and a half from hell! Thanks for the positive vibes!

That is so cute Nicole! The giggling story had me cracking up. And really social babies at my old job would shout just like Maya when I would talk to the parents. It is truly funny. -Court
